I've been listening to Rascal Flatts for quite sometimes and I personally feel their songs are awesome!!!. To name a few songs like What Hurts The Most and My Wish have been playing in my Ipod like forever.
Another song from them which kinda meaningful is "Winning At A Losing Game"

You know the time when you think you got your friends holding you or supporting your back while you going through a rough time. Well....reality sort of hit me. How odd is it to think that you think that your friend knows you but actually what they think of you is way out of what you have in mind.
I'm sad ....just friggin sad!!!

Recently, I got this 3 months free membership voucher from my friend for a well known fitness center in Kuala Lumpur. My friend won it when he enter this marathon couple of months back. Feeling excited and all geared up, I drove to the place. Registered myself at the counter and they asked me to wait for someone to come and brief.
Then came this young fellow, asking me about my details. After that only he started the sales pitch.He said the voucher that I have will only entitled me to use the equipment without any assistance from the crew member. If I want to join the classes (he claimed there are 155 classes), I have to sign up with them which will cost about $500. Apparently, this is a special price since I have the voucher, or else I have to pay more than $5000.
Woorrrr!!!! that is freaking expensive. Well, knowing my financial situation I refused to commit and there he goes about how I need to maintain myself in order to take care of the family. How women over 30 will get their menopause early if we did not maintain our body. And on he went talking non stop. Each word that I said, he will surely have some explanation for it.Gosh!!!!!
I know the importance of maintaning our health but I do believe that we can do it without overspending. There are other ways to keep healthy. I don't object to this high maintenance fitness center, if I could afford it but some poeple have other matters that required more attention. If I can be healthy without paying that much of money, then might as well I do it.

Guys....I got his forwarded email from my friend about some old calculators. And it is kinda cool.See for ya self...

This is a joke that my friend forwarded it to me.It is so funny so I wanted to share it will all the Voxers.

Prior to joining a new company, this guy, A was working at boat quay area.

In those tall building offices like UOB (bank in Malaysia)  and  such. His office was quite high up the level at least 30 and above. Normally he  will have to stay back for overtime and in the evening, all the lifts will be stopped  due to security reasons. Whenever he wanted to leave, he will need to call the old security uncle to activate the lift from ground floor to his level. Then the  uncle will send the lift up.

After some time, he left the company and  joined another place where the new office also very high up in the building. Hence  if do overtime, also need to call uncle to send lift up. Then it came the day that he's working overtime for the first time at the new place. He stayed back till 12  plus am

When he's about to leave, he called the security uncle to send the lift up. After packing up he went to the lobby to wait for the  lift.

He waited and waited until 10 min passed, Lift not up. He waited for  another   10 min and call the security uncle.

A:  Hello Uncle ah, have you send the lift up?

S: Yeah sent liao.

A:  No leh I been waiting for 20 mins liao leh

S: No meh? okie okie I send  again.

Another 5 minutes went by. No lift came up. The guy got worried.  He's the last person to leave and there's no one around. He called the uncle on his handphone again.

A: Er... Uncle ah, you sure you sent the lift  up?

S: Yeah I sent it up twice liao leh.

A: But I saw the lifts  all on the first floor leh!

S: Aiyoh. Nevermind. I take the lift up and  look for you.

Again, A waited. 5 minutes passed but none of the lift are  moving. Then suddenly, his hp ring. The uncle voice was on the other side of the  line sounding very weird.

S: Where are you? I am here. But I cannot find  you.

All this while A was staring at the display of the lifts. All at  level
1.... and the uncle is here.... shit something is not right.

A  straight away chiong to the stairs and dashed down the building...

When  he reached ground level, he chiong to the security counter and he  found out  that....

.....

He  had actually called the old security uncle in the building of his ex-company and  not the security uncle of his new office -_- He work till seh liao and was damn blur. Feeling very pai seh, he also never call back to explain to the security  uncle from the building of his ex-company.

Blur and poor uncle. He  must be the one who actually freaked out going all the way up and saw no one  there hahaha

Moral of the story - don't work till becoming  like sotong (squid).... 

I dig some information from the net and found out that the title for this book has been chosen by her brother Henry Austen.After reading this piece, I somehow feels that the title does not suit the story plot.There is no act of persuasion portray in this book from Anne Elliot nor Frederick. They were like ignoring each other. Unlike other books by Jane Austen such as Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility, the storyline does indeed related to the title. How she portray each main characters, really aligned with the title itself.

Once again, I had my usual annual RAYA trip with my ole U mates. And as usual, it takes about a week to gather them, arranging the time and date, which house to go first and no of pax will be going. I managed to meet up with one of my mates whom I haven't seen for about 12 years. And now she's a manager in one of local semi government company. How about that?. She stayed somewhere about 15 mins from my house (surprise surprise) and I didn't even know that she's there. We are from a retail bankground and yet she's into investment. How neat is that? Most of my friends who are from retail background, didn't proceed into retail worlds but instead we venture into different kind of world..banking, manufacturing, and etc. Sometimes what we plan does not always turn out to be what we have imagine. It might be better or might be worst....just have to bear with it.

In this economic climate, not all employers are able to give raises. What perks would make you happy in lieu of a raise?

Truthfully, money is actually is the greatest motivators of all perks. And if money is a constraint for the employer, I can't think of anything else to substitute it with.Well perhaps employer can substitute it with extra annual leaves, free holidays for the family, free dining each time employee has finished a certain project and etc. Need to be creative in order to satisfy employee needs and it is not easy as each people has different motivation factors.
